So me(26) and boyfriend(29) don’t live together. Although, lately he’s been staying at my house. He only goes home to shower but then comes right back to my house. He has a bit of a drinking problem(especially when he goes to the bar with his friends) where once he starts drinking he won’t stop.

Every time I had tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and let him go to the bar he comes home drunk and we end up arguing or he disappears at the end of the night. The last time he went out he had a court appearance the next morning and ended up almost missing it because of how hungover he was.

Tonight he asked me if he could go (because he wants me to drop him off) knowing he has a new job interview in the morning and I told him he couldn’t/shouldn’t. Now he’s telling me he’s going to go tomorrow instead and that he’s going to leave to the bar his house; meaning he’s not going to stay here.

I’m slightly annoyed and i don’t know if I’m being irrational in my annoyance or if I should just let him be and let it go.
