Close age gaps-worth it or not?

Please tell me your experiences with having kids close together.

Depends on what you consider to be close. My oldest 2 are 14 months apart which is pretty close. While we love the age gap I would NEVER recommend getting pregnant before 18 months pp. I almost died from all of my complications from getting pregnant too quickly and almost lost my second child several times due to my body being unable to handle pregnancies so close together. It's like having twins and always has been. This next baby will be 2.5 years younger than my youngest and we're already loving the gap more than with our oldest 2. Our youngest is full toddler mode and is very independent so instead of having 2 kids that can't walk, talk, or di anything on their own we'll have 2 toddlers that can do most everything by themselves. They can dress themselves, feed themselves (after I prepare their food), run, play, tell me what they need, ect so I can focus more on just one baby instead of 2 that are both full baby mode.

I have four daughters and pregnant with number 5. My oldest two are almost 4 years apart. I hate the age gap. They are just in very different places in life and don’t have anything in common.  My 2nd and 3rd are two year apart I Love the age gap. They play great and are friends. The 3rd and 4th are 17 months and I love this gap as well. It was hard at first but so worth it. They are super close and love each to play together. My 4th and 5th will be almost exactly two years apart. I look forward to their friendship too.
