Spray tan help please!

I have engagement photos on March 9, and I know I want to have a tan. I tan naturally in the summer, so I’ve never gotten a spray tan, and most self tan has never really made a difference on me for some reason.

I’m curious if I should get the spray tan just 3 days before the photos, or should it be like a week before? We’re taking photos at the beach, and I don’t want the water to cause any splotches or streaks in the tan 😫 but I don’t want to get it too early and it be gone by the time we take photos… I guess I’m also concerned that if it looks bad, a few days might not be enough time to get it all off before the photos. Help please!
