Husband says I’ll have to work after giving birth

We’ve been married for 2 years, f(21) m(22) I’ve been the sole provider for all this time. I’m currently 35 weeks and have been en route for about a year now from retiring from the military with 72k a year for the rest of my life. I didn’t want to let him know bc he tends to get “comfortable”, but I did to be open and honest. He has gotten a few jobs here and there but nothing to really help. He says because he doesn’t have any certifications like I do however he doesn’t want to attend college or trade school/ training programs. There will be a few months I won’t be getting paid (transition time), I’ve told him this, but he doesn’t seem concerned much and says I will need to work right after giving birth. But I don’t want to since I put myself in a position to make myself a stay at home mom. He also hasn’t helped me much with getting the house ready for the baby. Am I the asshole for wanting to divorce him?
