I woke up from a nap with some sharp left sided pelvic pain and some light pink bleeding. I laid back down and when I got up, the bleeding had progressed and I was passing a few small clots. I called my OB and they advised me to rest, take Tylenol and go to the ED if things got worse. About 30 minutes later, I passed a fairly large one and decided to go in and get an US to confirm. The tech didn’t mention a heartbeat and I wasn’t going to ask. I’m an RN, so I understand what’s not being said.

Mentally, I can deal if I have all of the information. I just need to know.
