Tips for upcoming C-Section at 36w?

Ta

Hi yall, so I have previa and thrombocytopenia and I'm waiting for my next appointment on the 12th to go over the next steps. I am 30w currently, after having a complete previa the placenta has only moved to 1.4cm from my cervix. With the added platelet issue, I'm fully expecting a c-section at 36 weeks. I have been prepping for a natural childbirth my whole pregnancy as we had been hopeful that the previa would resolve but now that I have other problems it's just not going to be safe for me to attempt a vaginal birth. I may also not be eligible for an epidural and will need to go under general anesthesia. Looking for some encouraging advice on how to prepare for this, things that were helpful and what to expect during the hospital stay and recovery. This is my first pregnancy so I am a bit bummed that it's ending this way, but baby girl is healthy, right at the expected measurements and pretty much spot on the mark for 50th percentile. Thanks in advance!
