Should my boyfriend go speak to disability services about his teacher

Me and my boyfriend are both 18 and he's handicap. He's in a wheelchair and has accomodations. His college was closed for a week because of a small fire. They're opening it back up but said their elevators are down. He was emailing his teachers about it and most of them said he can continue virtual learning. Except one teacher told him if he's not in class he will have points knocked for attendance so he either needs to figure it out or take the points knocked off. I don't think that's fair. I haven't had a chance to speak to my dad yet for advice because he works as a college professor but is this something he can report to disability services?
