Cervical exam causing bleeding?
I am 14 weeks. I have never ever had this happen before. They did a pelvic exam and then a Pap smear. This was the first time it was incredibly painful. My OBGYN said “I have to repair your cervix as it has been knicked” he asked the assistant to grab him silver something. He didn’t give me any other details (which is also my fault for not asking, it hurt and I wasn’t thinking) besides keep it easy and no intercourse for a week. Is that common?
