Endometriosis and discontinuing POP

Hello

I have thought for many years that I may have endometriosis, lots of the signs and symptoms I have struggled with.

The worst being when I had a copper coil in situ. Over the past 3 years I have been taking the progesterone only pill, which has allowed me the freedom of having no periods. This has been great until the past year where I feel that the POP is no longer masking lots of the symptoms. I’m also contemplating starting a family soon.

It has been decided that it would be best to discontinue the POP so I can see what my period, cycles are like and have hormone/ fertility testing after 3 cycles. Therefore I have literally discontinued my pill today.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

My partner currently has the ‘fear’ and is threatening to not touch me for the next 3 months.
