Back story.....im 15 months out from having Doudenal switch surgery (weight loss surgery) i lost 170obs since. We got pregnant in February with now twins and im due 10/28/24. Im just asking if anyone is a bariatric patient and is having a bari baby/s

I had the gastric sleeve march 2023 and got pregnant in january 2024. I love 150 lbs. I had PCOS and I've never been able to get pregnant before and tried fertility drugs for years. I.also have a unicornuate uterus. Currently 12w 1d and still in disbelief!

I had the gastric sleeve in 2017 and found out I was pregnant with my oldest in 2018, they were worried that I wouldn't be able to eat enough because it hadn't been a whole year and a half before I got pregnant but everything worked out good I had my son and then I turned around and got pregnant again right after that and now I'm pregnant with my third. With my first, I did have issues with the glucose test. I ended up having to take it three times. Because I couldn't hold it down I would just throw it up, so my doctor gave me nausea meds ￼then had me to take the test and I was fine.

I had a gastric bypass and got pregnant only 3 months after having the surgery. My baby girl is now a chunky healthy 18 month old, the only difference was my symptoms like gas and stomach pains were exaggerated especially after eating.

Duodenal switch on 09/2021 now 11w2d with a healthy baby. It was twins, but one stopped growing. My high risk doctor wants me to take the glucose test twice because of my surgery history and my current weight as I am still fluffy but 180lbs lighter. I have to see the high risk doctor because of my surgery and the twins that i had. I don't mind as I get more US.

I started going to the gym consistently for a year and got pregnant.

I had gastric sleeve back in decemvet 2015. Gave birth to.my oldest daughter in March 2018.  I was able to handle the glucose testing without issues and had a healthy pregnancy overall.
