Birth control!?

Question

Whose contemplating birth control.? And what kind..my ob suggested IUD.Never used it before and I don't really know anything about it...any info from you other mom's would be great...I used the nuva ring before and loved it but I am breastfeeding and can't use it..

I'm taking and doing absolutely nothing. With glow i have learned when and when not to have unprotected sex. I want absolutely nothing in my body or nothing stopping what my body is naturally ment to do  (periods)

An IUD is awesome! If your a fan of not having birth control as a daily thing to do - or even monthly, then it could be a great idea. I had one prior to this first pregnancy, and the only bad thing was getting it inserted which is no longer a big deal after a baby passes through your cervix :) I'm definitely getting one when I can. It was really easy for me to get pregnant after having it taken out at 34, and my periods stopped completely after 6 mo. I had the skyla before, but I'm not sure yet what I can use while breast feeding this time

Has anyone ever gotten the implant on the arm? Does it affect your breastfeeding?

I was prescribed a pill at the hospital after delivery. Doesn't have all the hormones I forget exactly what it has. I started taking it about a week after giving birth.

I'm getting an IUD. I love the idea of not having to take a pill everyday and I've heard periods become almost non existent for most people. I have hormonal migraines and took Seasonique before pregnancy so that i would only have a period four times per year. It worked great for my migraines so I'm hoping an IUD will work similarly without having to take a pill.

I had the IUD before and will be getting it again I loved not having no periods and I'm horrible for taking pills

I had the paragaurd copper IUD. I cannot have horemones due to a blood clotting disorder. It worked very well for me before pregnancy, so I assuming it will be the same way after. I am also allergic to latex so latex condoms are out, and animal ones gross me out...
