Charles Gregory was born January 5, 2016 at 3:47pm. He weighed 5lbs 9oz and is 19in long.

I came in for my scheduled induction at 7am where they started me on Pitocin around 8am. I had been 2cm dilated for about 2 weeks and after about 2 hours I hadn't progressed any. Around noon I had finally gotten to 4cm dilated and my doctor then broke my water. Immediately my contractions became much stronger. By 2pm my contractions are very strong and we're occurring every 2 minutes. My cervix had not been checked again so I don't know how dilated I was then. By 3pm my contractions are on top of each other and really painful. By 3:30pm my contractions were giving me the sensation and urge to push. By this time the nurses were scrambling to get my doctor in to deliver the baby but nature had its way and I pushed him out in 3 pushes!
