Nervous about a high risk pregnancy !

Just looking for some advice here. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. My son came a whole month early, and my daughter came 2 1/2 weeks early. My doctor says she is sure this one will come early. So they are considering me high risk. I love her I’ve been going to her since I was 17 years old. She is recommending that I get steroids throughout the pregnancy because this will keep my cervix closed. While I want to do what is safest for the baby I am definitely more of a natural person and try to steer away from pills/pharmacutical things unless absolutely necessary. I feel my kids were ready, they were both natural and came home after two days lungs fully developed. I’m not sure what to do. If I opt out of the steroids I will need to go to more prenatal appointments to make sure my cervix stays closed. Which I would rather do. Has anyone dealt with anything like this before ? Any advice ?

Hello with my 2nd pregnancy I went into preterm labor with my daughter.and the same happened with my 3rd as well went into preterm labor at 25 weeks. I would have to go every week to get these epi pen looking thing in the back of my arm. And he stayed in there until like 37 weeks. I’m pregnant again with my 4th and was told if I got pregnant again I am considered high risk, and will have to get the shots because due to my preterm history.

I would trust what your OB is saying. But you know your body. I’m not a med kind of girl either and I’m on quite a bit this pregnancy for my insulin etc.

Go to a functional doctor or a midwife for a second opinion.
