Few days till period

So I am on cycle 24 and supposed to have my period in about 9 days according to the app but today I was showering a glob of very very stretchy cm came out it was so stretchy I’ve never had that before is it possible I am ovulating this late in my cycle ? I usually have 29-30 day cycles but last month was off thinking because it was a (shorter month) thanks just want to know considering I’ve never had this before. According to the app I had bd on the 11 ovulation day predicted but didn’t do opk test so not sure
