Why is my ex ruining my reputation ?

He is putting me on blast on social media without saying my name treating me like I’m a criminal when I am not ever since the break up and this is affecting my future relationships leading to guys ghosting me and thinking bad about me when I am not. I never had guys leave my life like this affecting my chance of getting another boyfriend. Should I take legal action against him? Guys won’t stop ghosting me and ever since the break up with him a lot of guys have been blocking and ghosting me on social media thinking I do bad things when I don’t. What should I do about this?

It really depends on what he’s posting, but if he’s not using your name and not using identifying information then I don’t see how people would know he’s talking about you

Literally just block him. You don’t know what he’s positing is about you. You don’t have a case. Don’t waste the time of the police

Depends on what he is actually posting. You can go to the cops and ask but if he isn't using your name or image they very well may not be able to do anything. Same thing if it is only effecting your dating life and you are otherwise safe and your job/livelihood/kids/etc are unaffected they may have no legal grounds to do anything. I'd ask to see but I'd also be prepared to be told there is absolutely nothing they can do because that's usually what happens in situations. You can't always do anything about a physical and proven stalker until they actually harm you. My sister had one and legally there was nothing the police could do unless he broke in/made physical contact/kidnapped her. It all sucks but just be prepared to possibly have no ways to stop it

Call the cops. File harassment charges. Cease and desist letter from a lawyer. Defamation of character. Emotional distress, do what you gotta do.
