This guy I am talking to or dating for 5 going on 6 months got upset with me because I didn’t invite him over to my family house for Easter dinner. I said that we are not in a relationship and I don’t just bring men to meet my family unless I am in a committed relationship and until our relationship is defined then I will not introduce him to my family or children. Plus lately it’s like he wants me to do along if things as if we are in a relationship with no title or status but don’t want to make me his girlfriend. I haven’t been around his family besides his mom and that’s because she was walking home from the store in passing when I was dropping him off at home and I didn’t want to be rude and rude pass her so I picked her up and took her home so I met her by default but she was nice . But now he feel entitled to kick it with my family and do stuff like help my kids get ready for school, put them to bed etc like daddy duties and I get wanting to help out cause I’m a single mom but when we talk about furthering our relationship he don’t want to do that outside of talking he want to drag his feet with it . Idk I am just trying to create boundaries so I don’t end up in a situationship.
