Is this a deformity???

I’m sooo scared I did ivf so my baby had genetic testing and I did NIPT with my regular OB and all was normal. I go to an MFM and all is normal there. Then I do a 4D ultrasound and see this gap between the toes. Is this a sandal gap?? I read that’s a sign of some syndromes 😭😭 or just wiggly toes??

I think it is wiggly toes + angle of the foot making the gap look unusual. The toe does look extended

Baby it’s stretching their toes out. It’s not a deformity

It looks more like the toe is just extended. Even if it’s not, it’s important to remember that ISOLATED physical findings (like sandal gap, single palmar crease, 2/3 syndactyly, etc.) are also common in the general population and do not always mean a genetic syndrome. I myself have a sandal gap deformity. 🙂
