I've been married for 7 years, and I really feel like there's a lot of times where we've had to rekindle our relationship. Sometimes life just gets mundane and you fall into the daily grind and honestly, marriage just gets put on hold. Sometimes you need to focus more on yourself and your own growth and your marriage gets neglected. Ect ect. Life happens, your marriage feels safe, so it feels secure enough to become a secondary concern and other things take the stage 
When this happens- I just pretend like I'm dating my husband again. Start doing activities together 1 on 1. Maybe that looks like going out to dinner, or doing a puzzle together, finding a hobby to share, or a weekend out of town. I really make it a point to focus on him, as him questions, get to know him. Get silly and relaxed and bond. Reconnect
People are constantly changing, even if your circumstances don't. So get to know the newest layer of your partner again
