Pregnant!?

Any advice or thoughts PLEASE! AF not due until the 12-15th (I have never tracked my cycle so kind of guessing) period has always been regular except when I was on the Depo shot a few years ago. Not on birth control since my husband left about 3 months ago for work (obviously we saw eachother in December or I wouldn't be concerned)  ut experienced spotting yesterday morning and nothing since. Decided to test and this was even before the 3 minutes it recommends. It seems to early to get a positive so I'm a little confused..
