Calling all medical experts: Desperately need help

Sofia

Hi everyone,

I’ve been having serious health issues and am afraid my doctors aren’t taking it seriously. I have had pain and weakness in my legs, arms, and back (which has lead to near falls). Other symptoms include 24/7 headache, lightheadedness, dizzy spells, blurry vision, and some bladder issues (at night always feeling like I have to pee and sometimes leaking during the day or feeling like I won’t make it to the toilet and have to run. Is not a UTI). I’ve had my blood work done multiple times and all is clear, as was my brain MRI. I’m supposed to get a spinal MRI, but only for the cervical and thoracic sections. I’ve requested to get the lumbar and sacral part scanned as well since those parts affect legs and bladder, but they say it’s not necessary. My neurologist also told me that all of this might just be from stress or depression or from my endometriosis (which I can ensure you it is not). So I’m afraid that they won’t catch something by only scanning part of my spine and will just brush it off as “all in my head.” I haven’t been able to leave bed in over a week, haven’t been able to work, and feel like I’m crazy.

Any advice or reassurance? I feel so lost.
