Hi everyone!

I recently got a new partner and not long after got my first UTI. I had the worst pain that came with it. Fast forward to today, I finished the antibiotics 2 days ago, and sure enough the UTI came back today. For starters, I am so scared because I know UTIs can be serious, and it came back so quick. I feel like I’ve done it all right - we use protection, I pee right after sex, drink lots of water, been drinking cranberry, etc. Coincidentally, the day I went to the urgent care, I found out I no longer have health insurance so all these costs have been out of pocket, and cause of more anxiety.

It’s to the point where I’m scared to even have sex again and scared this new round of antibiotics won’t do the trick. It’s hard feeling so excited about a new person, and then disappointed about the “consequence”. I know UTIs are a common thing but would deeply appreciate any advice or peace of mind. TIA
