there are eclipses every year, usually 4 to 7 a year. if it effected babies development then pretty much everyone on earth would have been effected when in the womb. It will not effect anything

Lol no. The entire usa is gonna get at least a partial eclipse and they happen several times a year. I have seen mang lynar eclipses and was in totality while pregnant for 2017s eclipse. No issue as there is zero way it could have any effect. Ot would be like saying a full moon or a shooting star effects a baby. Pure bs and even if it did what would wearing red do? Or a safety pin lol? But no I have never even heard this was a thing until this post but only harm that can come from the eclipse is to your eyes and maybe in traffic Ieaving a totality site.
