Almost exclusively pumping, when is it considered oversupply?

I only breastfeed at night and don’t pump at night, but during the day I pump nearly 4 ounces every 2 hours. Is that too much or just right?

Answer

That’s just about right. Baby needs 1-1.5 oz per hour. So 2 hours would be 3oz max. So it’s more than needed, but I wouldn’t call it over supply.
