what is your opinion on the show Bluey?

I hardly see any good topics in here anymore, so a light hearted one may be fun.
I’ve seen quite a few people say they didn’t like the show because of the parenting style, people say the kids, Bluey and Bingo kind of run the household and that the parents are push-overs and I can see that in a few episodes I guess. 
I personally like the show and think the parents are amazing, the show teaches us as parents a lot about patience, punishments, pretend play, not to compare our kids, how fast time
goes by  etc. it also mentions infertility and miscarriages. Overall, the show is a favorite in my house! what do you think of it?

i, a 21 year old, will turn the tv on to watch bluey myself 😭😭 it’s such a cute show and it’s genuinely funny sometimes. it shows a lot of good lessons in episodes. the kids i nannied for LOVED it

My parents, husband, son and I went to Italy together a couple months ago. Anytime we got back to our AirBnB’s before my son’s bedtime, we’d watch a few Bluey episodes. My husband and I both love watching Bluey, and even my 60+ year old parents enjoyed it. It’s so cute and funny. My husband says all the time that Bandit is dad-goals, and my dad sent my husband this picture the other day that made us both laugh. My son will yell out the names of the characters during the opening theme song. It’s all around just a good, enjoyable, family friendly show. I’m a big fan of it.

I grew up in the 90s. The parenting on those shows weren’t that great either. And every show has its downfalls. But overall bluey isn’t that bad of a show.

We like it. As a whole we don't do TV in our home as we're too busy playing, exploring, and running around on our land. Maybe 1 episode a day or every few days. I know at my in-law's it's just on for a few hours. The whole family likes it. My husband plays some of the games with our toddlers like tickle crabs, keepy uppy, and crazy pillow. It's inspired quite a few games in our own home and has really helped my husband figure out a lot more ways to play with our kids. We love all the hidden messages in the show and both teared up during The Show during the tiny moment you can see Bandit comfort Chili over their lost baby and during the Onesies episode as we never thought we'd be able to have kids as right before we married I was told it was only possible via IVF after we lost our baby which was complete bullshit as we now have 3 living children. It's a cute show and honestly after seeing how a lot of parents are towards thier kids I think this show could do a lot of good for a lot of people out there. Personally I've seen several families where after watching the show for a while the parents are more gentle and try a lot harder to understand their kids instead of just scream at them.

It’s a great show! Some of it is kind of goofy, but there are many parts we’ve used in our own parenting- like putting your hand on your parent’s arm to let them know you have something to say - opposed to interrupting a conversation. Also… “baby race” gets me every time at the end 🥹♥️

I LOVE BLUEY! It’s a lot better than many of the children shows out there. It does show better parenting ways and understanding big emotions in children. I have a Bluey cup, custom shirt, and stickers.

it’s a cartoon show about an Australian dog family. it has some good general lessons, but anyone taking real parenting advice from this show is a little goofy lol. it’s sweet and isnt over the top compared to a lot airing now.

Umm…compared to most of the garbage tv available to kids these days, Bluey is one of the most wholesome shows for both kids and adults. It’s one of the only shows we are excited to have her watch.

I love bluey! It has actually helped give my husband and I ideas for pretend play with our 4 year old and he acts things out more since he’s started watching bluey. He’s never been very interested in toys but during/after an episode of bluey he will run and grab some toys and play with them like the girls do in the show. I also like that the episodes are short, so the kids can watch multiple episodes without getting a ton of screen time. My 18 month old will see the theme song and immediate run over to the tv, start dancing, and shout “BWEEEEEE!”
