Am I wrong for being upset?

I was eating dinner with my boyfriend tonight and I’m 20 weeks pregnant. We got to talking and we were just making conversation about different things and about me being pregnant. And he said “maybe my sex drive will be higher when you’re not pregnant” and that really hurt my feelings. As I’ve never been pregnant before and I’m going through all of the changes with my body. I just really took that personally.

this is pretty common for men to have a lower sex drive, it can be due to multiple things, my husband was always nervous about somehow hurting the baby (even though sex while pregnant is safe and he knew that but couldn’t shake the feeling lol) we both just felt a little uncomfortable, but for me, I didn’t feel sexy while pregnant and having a big belly with a baby in it just seemed weird for ME, but obviously not everyone is like that. you have a right to feel upset but he probably didn’t mean it in a mean way

A lot of men can feel uncomfortable with sex during pregnancy due to life responsibility pressure or feeling weird about having sex with the baby 'right there'. It's especially common wiyh your first pregnancy. It doesnt mean hes less attracted to you.

My husband has told me that he wants to take medication to lower his because he doesn't want to have sex with me since I never enjoy it or it's always horrible. Men can assholes tbh
