Surviving on One income

So im working a wfh job in finance (sorta...im in a specialized field). Anyway, i at times want to quit and just be a housewife and focus on my health. I often work crazy hours due to deadlines. Im not paid OT and im not forced towork crazy hours but i kinda have too...just to stay caught. My husband makes a 100k but his actual 2 weeks paycheck is not really that much...we don't have kids or a mortgage but we do have a car payment and other expenses. Just curious how do people survive on 1 income and still live a stress free life and travel etc
