Tubes removed/ pregnant?

Has anyone got there tubes removed and still got pregnant?

a salpingectomy (removal) is almost 100% effective in preventing pregnancy. A tubal ligation (cutting/tying/cauterizing) is slightly less effective but still pretty damn close to 100%. If pregnancy does occur it is often nonviable. I’ve worked in Womens health for like 13 years and can only think of one patient who had a successful pregnancy after a tubal ligation.

I dont think its possible to get pregnant after having both tubes removed. Maybe super rare.

My great grandmother did. Thank god! If she hadn’t I wouldn’t exist. She got pregnant with my nana after her tubes were cut.
