Milk but not breastfeeding
My daughter will be 3 in September. I haven’t breastfed since she was 4 months old due to an extreme tongue, lip, and cheek tie. Last year I noticed milk coming out of my breast, went to the doctor and they basically said it could be from warm baths or showers , even though I hadn’t breastfed at that point for quite a while. It would be random big drops. It went away or I just didn’t notice it. Yesterday I was changing and noticed that it has begun again. I’m also 5 days late for my period, I’ve tested and I’m not pregnant. I’ve done some research and I’m guessing that I may have high prolactin levels? I’ve been wanting to get my thyroid checked, and it said that thyroid issues can cause high prolactin levels. I’m making a doctors appointment on Monday, I just hate waiting and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this?
