Am I just a bitter old woman now

My son had a track meet that I went to with my other boys and his girlfriend. My son refuses to cut his hair short but usually forgets to bring a hair tie. His girlfriend remembered a hair tie for him because he always forgets and was putting his hair up for him. Some people were saying what a good girlfriend she is and I said "She gave him a damn hair tie. It's not like she gave him a kidney or a child. Damn." My other son said that their dad always tells them "To be loved is to be considered." I said that's cute but dumb and he said "Mom. You are just getting more and more bitter." I'm currently young through my 4th divorce and I'm only 46. I'm just tired of love and at this point the only love That matters are my love for my kids... But this isnt the first times my sons hage falled me bitter. My son who the one who does track called me a bitter old bitty a few weeks ago because he and his girlfriend were making plans to live together after college and I told him he needs to not make plans. Old love barely last. Let alone young love and to just worry about graduation. Have ally divorces actually just made me a bitter woman?
