Did your iron supplement cause stomach cramps?

I tried palafer for the second time last night. Took it as directed, empty stomach before bed. Woke up a few hours later with the worst cramps I’ve ever had. Felt like my entire colon was having contractions lol. Has anyone else had this? It’s been about 16 hours since I took it and my gut is still a bit crampy.

10 weeks with baby #3. Chronically iron deficient but have never reacted this way to an iron supplement before.
