Anyone have to be induced 37weeks for preclamsia ?

So I literally just received a call from doctors office letting me know that my blood and urine results came back from my 36 week appointment yesterday and I have protein in my urine and preclamsia along with bad swelling . They are scheduling me for nst , and ultrasound for today or tomorrow and then we will be discussing induction dates for sometime in my 37 week mark . I am so scared even though I knew this was a possudue to the horrible swelling in my feet but still very nervous and scared for the process . I really wanted her to come naturally and on her own and this is my first baby so I don’t even know what To expect .

Not induced because he was breech, but I had a c-section at 37w due to preeclampsia (combined with a severe blood disorder). All went as well as it could have (due to my blood, nothing to do with the preeclampsia). Our son was over 8lbs and healthy. His only difficulty was staying awake to eat, which is typical for that gestational age but caused him nearly to fail to thrive.

I wasn’t induced at 37 weeks, but I thought I’d share my experience to help with confidence 😊
I was induced at 40w1d. I don’t believe I ever received an official diagnosis of preeclampsia. I think I was only diagnosed with gestational hypertension. I was closely monitored from about 36 weeks. My blood pressure was borderline from 36 weeks until the end. I was typically 136/80 something. I never had excruciating headaches and my feet only got mildly swollen if I was on them all day and moving around a ton. I even had protein in my urine but all else was fine. 
I had read horror stories of inductions, so truthfully I was a little nervous for my induction. I ended up having a very, very pleasant experience. I was comfortable the entire time. Nothing was rushed. Pitocin wasn’t all that bad. My LO had a bad reaction to pitocin, so I had to entirely restart it at a slower rate which lengthened my labor (~22 hours). I was so fortunate to have a wonderful medical team. I had the best doctor who was so caring and attentive to me and baby. I, too, wanted to have a natural experience. Your team is there for you. Like one gal said, preeclampsia is quite serious and it is good that they’re taking precautions.

My second was born at 39w and my 4th at 36w they were perfect no nicu or any help needed you’ll do just fine preeclampsia can be fatal it’s better to get baby out then keep them in

Yes my first son was included at 37 weeks because of preeclampsia. I also had my second at 36 weeks bc of preeclampsia! They turned out beautiful and healthy!
