PCOS diagnosis and next steps in the UK

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me understand the next steps once you have a PCOS diagnosis on the NHS? I have had an array of blood tests and an ultrasound too. On the back of that the GP has given me a gynae referral which I will probably go private for as the NHS waiting times are really long.

I wanted to gather some info before I go in to see the consultant, but I don’t know what to expect. Has anyone been in a similar boat? Any advice is welcome, thank you 😊
