Medications w/ TTC & pregnancy?

I am on various medications for epilepsy and nerve damage. I only have small (petite mal/partial) seizures. Anyone here have any experience with something similar?

You need to talk with your doc. You need to get medication that is safe while pregnancy. Please see your doc BEFORE you start TTC. Not all medication against seizures are safe for your Baby!

My entire team of normal doctors, on top of three others; specialists i've worked with are amazing, But, they aren't pregnant with epilepsy. I know the science, the script classes and started In April 2015 preparing to TTC April 2016. I'm highly aware and prepared. However, being able to talk to someone who went through it would be nice.

Are you by any chance on topamax?

I was on Topamax and my dr took me off as soon as we started trying to get pregnant. It has very very high risks of cleft pallet and other  birth defects. Please talk to an OBGYN about your medication not just your primary care doctor.
