Anyone else have this side effect from taking the antibiotic cephalexin (keflex)?

I’ve been taking it 4 times daily for a UTI. It’s giving me the WORST stomach cramps all day and diarrhea. Anyone else have this happen? 
I guess it would just be nice to know that I’m not alone lol

I would keep an eye on it and contact your doctor in the meantime. Do your best to stay hydrated - with electrolytes not just water. 
I had taken a different antibiotic for a UTI called Macrobid and actually developed a rare reaction of pancreatitis that landed me in the er 🙃 I couldn’t even sit up straight it hurt so bad.

You could try taking a probiotic with it to see if that helps in anyway, but you may have to switch over to a different medication.

I was given keflex for an infection I had in my finger.. had to stop taking it after 3 days because same issue. & I literally could not stop using the bathroom. It was unbearable.
