Why am I just seeing a bill was passed, allowing teachers to have a firearm in the classroom!! Can anyone confirm this? As of right now, it is only in Tennessee and from what I can see people are outraged. This is unbelievable.

My thing is there is absolutely no reason for a gun to be in a SCHOOL. The only other person at the end of that barrel would be a child or another teacher!! This is insane.

Edit. For my Karen’s: Yes there is the exception of the RARE gunman or threat. But it is still safer to go on lockdown and wait for police to arrive. There is now countless scenarios of what could happen if the gun was in the wrong hands or a child’s! Those scenarios outweigh every other one because they are within the gun every single day. THEY ARE THE THREAT!
