bleeding that is possibly not my period

I wasn’t sure where to post this so I’ll just post it here as it does somewhat relate to my period.

Two days ago I masturbated for the first time in a while. I did use an adult toy that can be inserted but I think I may have been too rough. It’s been over 48 hours now and ever since I’ve had bloody discharge. Think of it as a very light period almost. I do find I’ve been peeing slightly more frequently, but it doesn’t burn or anything when I pee.

However, when I touch myself down there even while I was masturbating I do find that It felt slightly irritated before I inserted anything.

My last period was around March29- April 1, so still pretty close to my period coming. Do you think this is just pre-bleeding of my period? Or should I go to the doctor and get checked out?

I would also like to note I have not been sexually active in over a year.
