Herpes outbreak

I got herpes 3 years ago. And I haven’t had an outbreak again until now.

My bf knows that I have it but I haven’t told him that I have an outbreak going on right now.

I haven’t had sex with him in a week and he’s asked me why. I have just been giving him bjs to make him happy.

I don’t want to tell him and bring it up again because it’s embarrassing. Even though my doctor told me that he is probably the one that gave it to me when I told her about my sex life. He was the last person I had sex with before I got it but he had no symptoms. Although he said he might have had a cold sore on his lip.
