Is it normal to have period 3 times in less than a month?

I gave birth almost 5 months ago and I was given the Depo Provera injection but I had a period at the beginning of this month then again 2 weeks later and now I have period pains again I've had period pains less than a month is this normal?

I’ve had this happen when my periods change over. It’s happened to me a few times in my life.  I will have my period and then a few days to a week I will have my next one. right now I’m getting my period the middle to the end of the month.  but when it starts coming in the beginning of the month, I will get a period back to back to back. And your case I’m guessing because the medication you’re taking is causing your hormones and cycle to change that you might get it back to back until the pills actually regulated or injection whatever you’re doing. But always bring your concerns up to your doctor so she or he can monitor you and make sure everything is working properly with your body and there’s no side effects or possibly something else.

If you’re on Depo, then yes. I was on it and it takes 6-8 months for your periods to return to normal

Yep, I’m on POP pill and I had two periods back to back and thought it was withdrawn bleeding. Now the period I had planned on having is late. I just stopped tracking my cycle. :/

Yes depo provera injection will change your period and it’s normal if it spots but just see your doctor if you bleed too much it not good . You be anemic.

I highly recommend not using the depo shot. It causes wight gain and can cause infertility. I was on it and couldn’t get pregnant for 6 years.
