What should I do about people spreading rumors on why I chose to have an abortion ?

Years ago, I had an abortion because I wasn’t ready financially and emotionally yet and to this day people think I had an abortion because of me being irresponsible and to party and hook up with guys which is affecting my dating life which isn’t true. What can I do about these people?

Honestly I highly doubt any body is actually talking about you. Most people have way bigger things to worry about then what you did years ago. There is probably other reasons you’re having relationship troubles that have to do with the present, not something irrelevant from years ago
