Small for Gestational Age
So I had my anatomy scan done today. Baby girl was absolutely not cooperating, and was laying with her back to my stomach or curled in a tight ball, making it very difficult for the sonographer to get a good view of her heart and head. But based on what they did see, her femurs and skull circumference are very small - less than 3rd percentile based on the radiology report summary I got in MyChart. They’re doing a follow up ultrasound in two weeks. Has anyone else experienced this? What ended up being your outcome?
When I was pregnant with my son, they also said he had really small femurs at his anatomy scan. Three weeks later and a follow up US, they said everything looked proportional now. Is it just me and how my body creates bone sizes when growing babies?
