What age would you consider “too old” to be getting pregnant? For example I’m going to be 35 this year, I just don’t want to be selfish to the child for being an older parent.

I had my eldest child at 19 and my youngest child at 42. For me, having my youngest at 42 has been much easier than having my eldest (and the children in between) at 19. I have felt more equipped emotionally and mentally with my youngest child than my older children.

I think age is entirely down to the individual, i have three children already and am pregnant with my fourth and final baby at 36, i will be nearly 37 when they’re born x

I still feel so young in my 30s. I didn't feel ready at all until I was 27 and even then I still had that feeling like how did they just let me take this baby home? It's okay to have a child in your 30s, people act like life is over at 30 but it's not. People are living longer and healthier and it's taking people longer to finish school and buy homes and whatnot I would MUCH rather have a kid at 35 than before I had my life together.

That’s your choice to make. I was 35 almost 36 with my first and 37 with my second. I didn’t want to be pregnant at 40, but that was my limit.

35 is a common age to be a first time mother in a lot of places these days. You are at an elevated risk for twins, chromosomal disorders, and infertility. However, most people still have typical singleton pregnancies and are able to get pregnant within a year. If you have access to regular healthcare, you’re also likely to live relatively healthy for a lot longer than people used to.

You are definitely not too old. Unless people in your family only live to like 50 or something on the regular. My family lives to 93-100 my husbands has been 60’s+ and with better medical and my husband taking care of himself I would say he’ll live longer than previous generations.

Had my 1st at 18 2nd at 20 3rd at 23 im currently pregnant with #4 i'll turn 24 when im 38wks in October i definitely dont want to have kids after my 30's thats just me personally
