Hi all!

I have had 3 past miscarriages. All of them started with hcg at 30-40 at week 4. My hcg usually didn’t double. They all had a pretty low progesterone too. For these pregnancies I was put in progesterone after testing positive and receiving low numbers. However, the progesterone never seemed to work.

This time around my dr had me start progesterone day 16 of my cycle and then take it until I got my period or got pregnant, and if I got pregnant I would keep taking it. I got pregnant right away after starting this. My first blood draw this time around was a 224 hcg and progesterone of 22.6. That was a week ago. I got my blood drawn a week later which was this past Monday. My hcg was in the 5,000s and progesterone was 19!

Does this sound like progesterone was the issue all along? My tests have been darkening appropriately as well so my hopes are high
