Depo or nexplanon?

From another women, which form of birth control is “ok” I want to try depo again but it made me spot for 2-3 months on the first shot and I’m a little nervous about the nexplanon being in my arm. Any advice ladies ?

Normally progestin only methods cause irregular bleeding. No bleeding, bleeding multiple times a month, spotting, all can happen.  Adjustment can be 3 to 6 months. Most people bleed when getting depo and by the 2nd injection periods tend to disappear. Both depo and nexplanon are progestin only methods. I personally hated the impant and never had my bleeding regulate. Depo took away my period the whole time i was on it.
