Does Azo pills cause false positives?

I thought I was getting a uti and took azo last night and this morning i decided to take a pregnancy test because a friend had mentioned it I have irregular cycles don’t really keep track but this is the test and I’m just wondering if it’s the azo pill causing the line. Anyone have any experience with this

I would stop taking the pills just in case:  they contain ibuprofen which can cause miscarriage.  I don’t believe they will cause a false positive, but you might want to get a blood test to be safe

I would think it could affect the result as it dyes your urine which could affect the dye of the test. Can you reach out to your doctor for a blood test? They should also know if the azo affects the results.
