3 year old anger problems

Im struggling to handle my 3 year old. Since he was 1.5 years old he would hit you. Now its getting worse he would just come up to you and hit for no reason. When he tell in off for doing something he shouldnt he will come and attack you. He has even started hitting his great grandma to the point he punched her in her face and she had a black eye. His temper tantrumsare getting worse aswell. Im sick of being attacked all the time my 5 year old hides from him so he doesnt get hurt. I was able.to deal with him snacking me as.it didnt hurt to much and.was able.to.put him in time out but now.its biting kicking pulling.hair nipping punching and screaming in my face. Time out doesnt work for him he would.sit there till his time and.then hit me.again im covered in bruises.and i cant deal with it no more the hv is useless as she said it was terrible 2s but he should.start getting better soon just.to be patient. Any advice please im on my last straw
