5w5d no heartbeat?

I just had a dating scan which put me at 5w5d. The ultrasound tech said it was too early for a heartbeat and to come back in two weeks. Has anyone else had this happen? What was the outcome? P

They don’t expect to detect a heartbeat till at least 6 weeks and even then it’s still too early sometimes. I wouldn’t be worried, just give it time!

At 5+3 I only seen sac and yolk scan 2 weeks later seen baby and heartbeat

Totally normal! I had an ultrasound around 5 weeks 4 days with this pregnancy due to getting pregnant with an IUD, so we had do some extra scans and we only saw a gestational sac and yolk sac!

I had my scan 5 weeks 2daya there was only a gestational sac tomorrow is my 1 week follow up. Praying for the best.

I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks 3 days and they just saw a yolk sac with no heartbeat. I’m currently 10 weeks and baby is doing great 👍🏻 you’ll probably go back in a couple weeks and there will be a heartbeat. Try not to stress too much ❤️

It is a bit early. Everything should be fine on your next visit.

This is why my dr won’t do ultrasounds until 7 weeks. When do you go back? That’s still very early to see much.

Very normal. I had the same experience. Went back at 6w4d & saw heartbeat
