Is Web MD making me paranoid ?

So I am sexually active and I am not on birth control, so there is a high probability that I am pregnant. However the math isn’t making sense and now I’m scared something is wrong.

Last week my cycle came about 3 days early but was shorter than usual, and now in my fertile peak I’m spotting again. Web MD said it could be implantation bleeding. But I thought that happens about 10 days after fertilization? Which would make the math weird and wrong. So I looked it up and they also said it could be a hormonal imbalance, but either way it’s too early to take a pregnancy test. What do you guys think?

Update: I wasn’t pregnant, just had a weird month, probably stressed. I’ve had a few cycles since then just forgot to update

If your periods are irregular, you can’t use that as a reliable indicator for fertility. Only way to know for sure if you’re pregnant is to take a test. If you’re not trying to get pregnant, I’d recommend using some form of contraception. If you are trying to get pregnant, then good luck! Also if you recently got off birth control it can take some people a bit of time for their cycles to re-regulate.

Yes. Looking up your symptoms online is one of the worst things you can do. If you’re worried, got to the doctor
