Should I wait or test??

Me & my bf have been having many problems where he’s blaming everything on me. I was going to go get an iud inserted because of the problems we were having then they tell me I can’t because I had unprotected sex within that week so they gave me a pill to take (Ella) & now I’m 4 days away from my period and barley feeling some cramps. But I’m wondering if I should just test already? I had cramps when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter and thought my period was coming and it didn’t. So I’m wondering if I should just take a test just to know
