Would you let your boyfriend go on a dating reality show?

I don’t like the wording of “let” but used for poll purposes. For context, my partner has been given an opportunity to star in a reality dating show about being matched with another contestant and then seeing if they can develop a bond etc (same old trope). This is not an English series, but a Hindi series. We have been in a committed relationship for three years, but due to distance we don’t live together.

I don’t distrust him but I do find the whole idea of my partner going on a dating show a bit disconcerting. I am uncomfortable with it. Because while I’m sure he wouldn’t do anything unfaithful, I know the directors will put him in compromising situations and will surely ask that he flirts with other women, and comments on their appearance and possibly even touches them.

The thing is he is pursuing acting and he believes his appearance on this Hindi reality show would boost his acting career in India. I am not sure about the stats but I don’t want to stand in the way of him doing that…. But at the same time I am not comfortable with him being encouraged to form attachment to other women on this show…. What would you do?
