Induction.

So I am 41 weeks and two days, I’m 1 centimeter dilated as of today may, 29th. I have an appointment for induction this Friday, so in two days. I am assuming they will be administering pitocin. And we have all heard how scary some stories are from this medication!

I’m just wondering, since I’m a first time mom, and no one around me has been induced. What was your experience? The good or the bad? I’m scared of the risks and complications, but I want to be prepared. How exactly did your experience with induction start, progress and finish?
